Inspire. Imagine. Ignite: The Lean Startup
Excellent summary of ‘The Lean Startup’ by Tim Kutnick, especially his section “practical applications this week”, which totally apply to my startup now:
- Develop hypotheses for work and seek to prove/disprove
- Treat work like an experiment
- Develop 2 ways of doing my work (and A/B test)
- Accomplish tasks in small batches
Totally worth scanning through over-and-over to recap the principles.

Great documentary of Steve Jobs in 1987 as he was building up NeXT from scratch. It shows Jobs excited and positive as well as ‘smoking’ as he dealt with the plethora of problems faced by startups trying to build a complex product and fit it into a specific market window while draining out the initial investment.
